This page hosts the dictation for the dictation exercises at the end of each chapter of Professional Teeline: A Complete Guide to Modern Shorthand. Each passage is recorded at three different speeds; 40, 50, and 60 words per minute, so you can practise your skill and memorise different outlines and how to create them.
These dictations are designed to be used in order, and are an accompaniment to Professional Teeline. Refer to the coursebook for details on notes, outlines, and how best to use these dictations. 

How to use these dictations:

1. Pick a WPM speed that suits your current level.
2. Refer to the corresponding exercise in the Professional Teeline coursebook for notes, tips, and outlines to practise.
3. Have your pen and pad ready before starting.
4. Write continuously — don’t pause the recording.
5. Read back your notes, check against the transcript in the coursebook, and repeat at a faster speed when ready. There are three speeds for each dictation. You can pause the video between each one.
